Breaking Poverty Through Education
Educating Tanzania Foundation was founded by Nancy Bushek. During a volunteer trip to Tanzania, Nancy came to know and love the many children who do not have the luxury or opportunity to go to school. During Nancy’s time in Arusha, she discovered the local children have an eagerness to learn that is refreshing and inspiring. It is the mission of Educating Tanzania Foundation to enable opportunity for the poorest children of Tanzania, and in so doing, provide a new life of possibilities to these children through the generosity of others.
The secondary goal of Educating Tanzania Foundation is to establish and facilitate an ongoing communication between Educational Sponsors and their Sponsee. This includes communication updates on school performance, health, life milestones and achievements. This provides our Educational Sponsors to hear directly from their sponsored children about their lives, their dreams and goals!
Already our Educational Sponsors have had the pleasure of hearing specific information about their sponsored children and have been overjoyed to know that their contributions are changing these children’s lives.
